Manuscript is a diagrammatic archive of the research that lead to the Procession of Contraceptive Plants and Forgotten Midwives at Middelheim Museum in June 2023.
Manuscript comprises nine woollen folders that each hold diagrammatic archives of different parts of the Procession: the Herball for A Midwife: Middelheim, Radio Hush Hush, the Company, the Banners and Pockets, the Procession itself, and an Index.
The work, made up of more than a thousand items, has been photographed by Wannes Cré and Wendy Morris for a stop-frame animation.
The work is held in a suitcase. It is in the collection of Middelheim Museum library where it is accessible for consultation by viewers, readers or researchers.
